Essential Functions

Interns will work with a variety of team leads to support Pear Suite, a digital health start-up working to improve well-being and access to social resources for older adults. Pear Suite utilizes a web-based platform and omni-channel communication system to comprehensively assess and address the social drivers of health of community members. Through screening tools, resource linking, health education, friendly check-ins, and dynamic reporting, we can increase member engagement, drive independence, and reduce healthcare costs.Interns can come from a variety of backgrounds—healthcare, marketing, finance, computer science, data, etc.—and apply their skills to the organization’s growth and expansion.We are seeking interns interested in joining our diverse team of entrepreneurs, researchers, clinicians, engineers, product developers, and strategists as we revolutionize the way we support prevention and community health. Our expansive network of community partnerships, ongoing product iteration, and strong market traction makes this opportunity both exciting and ripe for personal and professional growth.

Requirements

• Interest in serving older adults of diverse backgrounds, ages, and abilities

• Excellent communication skills; comfortable communicating by video conference and phone

• Strong computer skills; ability to learn and operate web-based systems effectively

• Confidentiality when dealing with confidential matters or sensitive subjects

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to quickly learn and apply new information as it relates to improving processes

• Must be independent, self-motivated, and success-driven, yet willing to work within an international team environment

• Loves research and gaining industry knowledge

• Highly organized and detail-oriented
