Tyrula is currently seeking an Operations Assistant to join our team! We are growing quickly and are looking for an Operations Professional to work from our McLean, Virginia office HQ to support our team!

About the Role

As an Operations Assistant, you will be a critical member of our team ensuring continue to be efficient and effective as we scale. You will assist with many HR-related activities including job recruitments, Microsoft Outlook Calendar scheduling, receiving deliveries, and being the go-to person in the office. Additionally, you will be a knowledge center by helping design executive reports as well as collecting data for internal business reporting. You will work with our HR/Operations team and communicate with all internal departments (IT, HR, Sales, Operations) as well as clients and vendors. You will also help with general operations/administration tasks such as maintaining office supplies, managing travel arrangements, assisting with event planning, and helping manage Tyrula's social media and website. In addition, you will also work closely with the President and the CEO of Tyrula to help with other ad-hoc tasks. 

As the nature of this role involves assisting with and being responsible for many independent tasks; to be considered, you should be detail-oriented, have strong data analysis/reporting skills, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has past roles as a Secretary, Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, Sales Assistant, Legal Assistant, or Office ManagerYou'll learn all the non-technical operations of a well-established and growing business.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform clerical and administrative tasks
  2. Assists with maintaining, and submitting data and metrics for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  3. Assist with creating invoices and follow-up/collections for accounts receivable
  4. Assist with supporting HR activities, such as standard company onboarding training, collecting metrics, calendar tracking, and ordering equipment. Also assisting in recruitment efforts.
  5. Helping Tyrula adhere to our compliance with ISO, CMMI, and federal and healthcare regulations, including assisting with Quarterly/Annual Meeting efforts, internal audits, and metrics.
  6. Assist with organizing assets/processes/etc. in SharePoint and Confluence,
  7. Creating reports for Leadership 
  8. Assist at the HQ office with visitors, key cards, phones, deliveries, mail, ordering office supplies, etc.
  9. Make travel and events arrangements
  10. Assist the Sales & Marketing efforts 
  11. Help manage Tyrula's social media and website
  12. Help create and manage an internship program
  13. Ad hoc tasks as assigned


Basic Requirements

  1. Proven work experience as an Operations Assistant or similar role
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel as well as other Microsoft Office Products
  4. Proficiency in data collection and analysis for reporting
  5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail


Desired Additional Skills 

  1. Experience with either sales support, recruiting, accounts receivable, or compliance
  2. Working for a federal contractor or healthcare company
  3. Associates or Bachelors degree in any discipline


Salary

$50,000 - $65,000 annually
