About the Role

In relation to the role, Tyrula LLC has been awarded a $50M single-award blanket-purchase agreement (BPA) with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to provide a Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) Administrative Operations Information System (AOIS). This is a five-year award for a secure, cloud-based, low-code solution based on Microsoft Power Platform. The solution Tyrula continues to build and deploy using agile technologies helps the staff at CDER focus on the great work they do protecting all of us. 

As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you will have a detailed understanding of a broad range of software quality assurance methodologies and technologies. You will work with Business Analysts and Software Developers to create test plans, create test cases, and manage functional and regression tests. You will develop automated tests when practical. You will lead the team to meet product quality goals through regular quality analysis and team process improvement.


  • Work with the software development team to manage the delivered software quality to meet product quality standards with respect to software defect rates, compliance with software requirements, software usability, and end-user perceived quality.
  • Design and document test plans and test procedures to meet standards.
  • Analyze user stories and other requirements for completeness, consistency, validity, and feasibility.
  • Create, document, and manage product test cases.
  • Perform Functional, System, Integration, and Regression tests.
  • Document software defects and other quality issues and work with software developers and business analysts to demonstrate or explain test results.
  • Write, execute, and maintain automated test cases.
  • Maintain the software test environment and software testing tools.
  • Analyze quality problems (including user feedback) to identify trends and work with the software development team to make process improvements.
  • Assist software developers, operations, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues.
  • Develop additional project documentation such as business process workflows, presentations, how-to guides, etc.
  • Be productive in an Agile environment and apply best practices through cross-functional collaboration.


  • 2+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance and/or Software Engineering.
  • 1+ years experience in Agile development methodology.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Strong personal time-management skills to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have a "customer-first" attitude and work cooperatively and flexibly with stakeholders and team members.
  • Automation testing experience (Microsoft EasyRepro, Selenium) strongly preferred
  • Experience in US Federal Government Projects is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Existing Public Trust is preferred.


  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field and two year's of additional experience.


$85,000 to $95,000 annually
