About the Role

In relation to the role, Tyrula LLC has been awarded a $50M single-award blanket-purchase agreement (BPA) with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to provide a Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) Administrative Operations Information System (AOIS). This is a five-year award for a secure, cloud-based, low-code solution based on the Microsoft Power Platform. The solution Tyrula continues to build and deploy using agile technologies helps the staff at CDER focus on the great work they do protecting all of us. 

As a Business Systems Analyst (BA), you will be a key analytical and technical resource on the project team by helping to understand business problems, formulate solutions built on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, research unknowns, and validate that solutions meet requirements. You will use a basic understanding of business systems, industry requirements, and technology, combined with business analysis and requirements management techniques. You will implement consulting and technology tools to satisfy project requirements by performing requirements gathering, interviews, business process modeling, financial, and statistical modeling. You will be accountable for process deliverables, business presentations to clients, analyzing and documenting data, conducting extensive research, and integrating technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with various technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand complex business processes through individual interviews, group interviews, observation, review of business documents, and customer surveys.
  • Translate business requirements into concise, feasible, and verifiable user stories and acceptance test criteria.
  • Work closely with software developers, user experience designers, and other software development team members to contribute to the software system design.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to evaluate new software solutions and ensure that these meet business requirements through product demonstrations, user story acceptance test evaluation, user acceptance testing, and requirements tracing/validation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to adopt new software solutions including updating business processes to adapt to new process automation.
  • Maintain, prioritize, and groom the Product Backlog.
  • Conduct training and develop end-user documentation, presentations, and videos as required.
  • Assist with evaluating the user experience design through user task analysis, personas, functional specifications, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Develop additional project documentation such as business process workflows, presentations, how-to guides, etc.
  • Be productive in an Agile environment and apply best practices through cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in business analysis with Customer Resource Management (CRM) software end-to-end implementations or related custom application development.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with non-technical, business-oriented users.
  • Working knowledge of visual diagramming tools.
  • Working knowledge of Project Management tools (such as Jira or Agile Accelerator).
  • Strong personal time-management skills to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have a "customer-first" attitude and work cooperatively and flexibly with stakeholders and team members.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Existing Public Trust preferred.
  • Agile Product Owner, Product Manager, or related agile certification preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform preferred.
  • Experience on US Federal Government Projects is preferred. 
  • Must live and work in the United States.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is required.

Salary:

$95,000-$105,000 annually
