This role is responsible for leading and managing the implementation of the ComEd Energy Efficiency Program Retro-commissioning Offer in collaboration with ComEd. Specifically responsible for working with ComEd and the Nexant implementation teams to develop and deploy a strategic plan and vision for the retro-commissioning offerings. This role must have supervisory and staff management experience; work effectively in a team environment; be comfortable providing leadership and direction in a changing environment; and effectively managing a diverse team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage program activities including marketing and strategic planning, client relationships, proposal preparation, and project management

• Manage day to day aspects of the Program including quality of work product, client communications, budget, schedule, and directing technical staff

• Oversee and provide guidance to all program leads: engineering, marketing, outreach and service provider management activities within the program

• Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to support new business development opportunities and offering development initiatives as requested

• Meet overall scope, schedule, and budget targets

• Work with team to provide & create strategic plan and develop vision for the program

• Ensures efforts of the team and components align with goals

• Attends to needs of clients seeking ways to add value; proactively communicating on a regular basis

• Manages risk analysis by looking for and addressing potential roadblocks to budget, resources, and timelines

• Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives with the team

• Manages staffing resources for all assigned contracts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in mechanical, architectural, electrical, or civil engineering or similar technical field, Business Management, Construction Management strongly preferred

• Minimum five years of successful project management experience within the commercial, utility, industrial, energy efficiency, building efficiency, or construction management industry required

• Two plus years of experience and demonstrated expertise within the energy management, facility management, HVAC & lighting systems, and/or the energy efficiency industry is desirable

• An understanding of building energy systems (HVAC, plumbing, and lighting) a plus

• Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and control systems a plus

• Outstanding analytical, verbal, writing, and presentation skills

• Interpersonal skills including the ability to develop client relationships in a technical environment

• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects and supervise technical staff

• Local utility, commercial, and industrial contacts in the Midwest are a plus

• Desire to excel in a fast-paced, innovative, and growing organization

• Obtain and maintain an Illinois driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required
