About the Job
Looking to make a positive impact each day? Our Energy Advisor role enables our experts to get out in the field to help people save energy. One part relationship-builder and one part problem-solver, as an Energy Advisor you will be a key contact, working with utility customers, trade contractors, distributors, manufacturers, architects, engineering firms, service providers, etc., individually and in group settings, to build relationships and maximize participation in utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs. This role involves promoting a utility-sponsored rebate program to help reduce the cost of energy efficient equipment for area businesses through outreach and technical expertise.

Our team’s mission is to reach, educate and assist customers and contractors to participate in and promote utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs. We are dedicated to forming a group of motivated, knowledgeable and confident contractors who effectively promote energy efficiency programs and rebates to mutual customers, resulting in increased program participation and customer satisfaction. We do this by developing and implementing a strategic plan that includes: building and managing contractor relationships; developing and executing outreach to recruit new contractors and retain current contractors; delivering sales and program training presentations to provide contractors with an understanding of the value of incentive programs; and helping contractors identify qualifying projects and associated incentives, supporting contractor application completion and submission, and answering program inquiries. This role will also leverage the technical expertise to identify and support energy efficiency projects for utility customers.
