About the Job
Nexant seeks an analyst to join the Strategy and Planning team to work on energy efficiency program planning, delivery and evaluation with a focus on engineering and analysis support.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Junior-level engineering and analysis support: field work, data collection, energy analyses, project research, etc.
• Conduct primary and secondary data collection efforts as well as data analysis
• Conduct measurement and verification (M&V) activities for installed energy efficiency measures
• Support impact evaluations and cost-effectiveness analyses for energy efficiency programs
• Assist with the development of data collection instruments
• Support and assist with input for technical report writings; contribute to draft reports, including results and actionable recommendations
• Support senior staff with development of presentations, papers and proposals
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e. engineering, environmental science with a focus on energy efficiency / energy management)
• 1+years of experience in an energy-related field, preferably in a consulting environment
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
• An understanding of building systems, energy end uses and equipment, thermodynamics, and heat transfer, specific in commercial and industrial sectors
• Energy assessments, analysis of energy data, and/or Measurement and Verification experience is desirable
• Experience in energy modeling is a plus
• Experience preparing draft reports detailing analytical findings
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Must have a valid driver's license, a reliable car, and be able to travel locally up to 10% of the time.
