About the Job
We are seeking an IT System Administrator to support all Nexant business units. The position is a technical, hands-on role for an experienced individual with a proven background in systems infrastructures. The ideal candidate will be well organized, and excel both independently and in a team environment, with minimal supervision. Primary function is to provide end-user support for hardware, software, and applications at local and regional offices of Nexant. This may involve technical and proprietary environment and applications to Nexant. Strong windows Desktop support and familiarity with Microsoft Server and Cisco Networking are required. Participation with the global team projects and tasks makeup the core part of the position.

Duties and Responsibilities
• To service the IT needs of Nexant employees in line with Corporate IT Policies and process
• Participate in Global IT team projects and initiatives
• Procurement and delivery of laptops
• Be available for emergency IT incidents
• Participate in closing IT tickets
• Participate in regular team meetings and weekly status updates
• Act as a remote representation of IT functions and communications
• Work as part of a large team, but mostly unsupervised locally.
• Provide weekly updates to infrastructure manager
• Maintain the positive attitude when under pressure
• SFTP Credentials & Management – New User Setup/Audit/Removal
• Act as the back-up administrator for file servers throughout North America
• Review and revise documentation for current IT infrastructure, policies, and procedures
• Other duties as needed.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computing or similar preferred; Relevant certification with technical experience acceptable. Google, Microsoft, Cisco certification plus 5-10 years of experience is acceptable
• 2-4 years of experience providing remote IT technical services
• Proficient in G-Suite administration (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Keep, Sites, Hangouts, etc.)
• Understanding of Microsoft Server technology File/Print/Application servers
• Skilled in Directory Services such as AD, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, etc.
• Understanding of computing policies and processes
• Comfortable with administering Windows 7, Server 2008, 2012 technology
• Be able to support the entry-level regional network needs with Cisco routers, switches, and access points
• Comfortable with Cisco Call Manager, Unified Messaging, and Cisco Call Center
• Experience writing scripts to automate tasks, debug/troubleshoot issues and document configuration and processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to travel locally (domestically or internationally) up to approximately 10% of the time.
