The Nexant HR team is seeking a dedicated and self-motivated HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This person is an integral part of the HR team, responsible for providing analytical support and participating in collaborative discussions. This position will require high attention to detail, the ability to manipulate and interpret data using Excel, and the ability to efficiently work on multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of Human Resources experience to include work in recruitment, HRIS, benefits administration, employee relations, and compensation. This individual will be based in our Salt Lake City, UT office. He/she will report to the Vice President of HR and collaborate with the HR staff (Two Senior HR Managers (US and UK), Talent Acquisition Specialist, and HR Specialist).

Duties and Responsibilities

Recruiting
• Full cycle recruitment (sourcing, reference checks, interviews, preparing offer letters)
• Assist with maintaining Nexant’s Career site and LinkedIn Career page
• Assist with immigration recruiting process (H-1B and PERM): job postings, contacting newspaper vendors, tracking and removal of ads
• Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition Specialist

HRIS
• Responsible for ensuring employee changes are accurate and maintained in the Oracle Fusion and TriNet systems to include: entering new hire information, employee status changes, and terminations
• Ensures business cases are obtained and properly filed for corresponding employee hire, status change, and termination actions
• Maintains accurate electronic employee files in the shared drive
• Responsible for coordinating with TriNet representatives and Payroll to ensure accurate records are reflected in the TriNet system
• Work closely with IT to troubleshoot HRIS issues in Oracle

Employee Lifecycle
• Onboarding: Ensure an exceptional onboarding experience for employees
• Employee Relations: Meet with employees and managers regarding employee relations issues and investigate/resolve concerns. You will be the main HR advisor for the Salt Lake City office (and other offices as assigned)

Reporting
• Responsible for producing monthly HR census reports
• Generate and manipulate ad hoc reports requested by Senior Leadership
• Prepare, maintain, track, and update various employee reports

Benefits/Billing/Auditing
• Billing – Audit and submit all monthly carrier invoices to Accounts Payable
• Annual Open Enrollment – Assist in auditing data and communicating changes to employees prior to and during Open Enrollment
• International benefits administration assistance, if needed
• Leave of Absence Management
• Compliance and Benefit Regulations - Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including required notice distribution, audits and renewals of benefits plans and ensuring reporting requirements are met timely
• Responsible for HR purchasing card billing and management
• Maintains and submits HR expense reports

Communications
• Design and update HR forms, templates and presentations
• Monitor HR mailbox and oversee the distribution of messages to the appropriate party
• Proof and distribute all communications sent from the HR mailbox
• Complete employment verification requests

Other
• Assist with other administrative functions (copying, scanning, invoicing, auditing, etc.), and HR event coordination as needed. Special projects and additional duties as directed.

Qualifications
• 2-5 years of HR experience is required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification a plus
• Must have a pleasant and helpful attitude
• Proficient using HRIS systems, preferably TriNet and Oracle Fusion
• Familiarity with navigating applicant tracking systems
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Proficient in G-Suite.
• Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws
• Professional and polished verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
• Proven ability to multi-task and function as part of a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle highly sensitive material and maintain confidential information with a high degree of professionalism
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Self-motivated and takes initiative to improve current processes and procedures
