About the Job

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Engagement Manager to manage large-scale customer deployments of our iEnergy enterprise software solutions. In this role, the candidate will plan, execute, and complete complex projects on time and within budget. The successful candidate should be self-motived and have demonstrable experience managing mission-critical infrastructure and enterprise application projects, within an IT and business-focused environment. Additional duties include managing project documentation, building client relationships and developing new business.


Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, track and manage multiple projects through entire lifecycle

• Develop and maintain project plans including charter, scope, work breakdown structures, estimates, resource plans, budget, task dependencies, schedule and open issues, and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

• Manage customer expectation

• Understand customer business drivers, key use cases, and high level business objectives

• Develop hands-on knowledge of the Nexant SaaS platform

• Identify, define and manage overall project risks and take corrective action in a proactive manner to mitigate those risks

• Collaborate with resource managers, technical staff and business subject matter experts to orchestrate project deliverables to ensure they are planned and executed in alignment with the overall project strategy and plan

• Facilitate and lead meetings and activities to gain consensus on project objectives, deliverables, schedule, cost, and implementation considerations

• Manage project staffing and responsibilities

• Ensure all appropriate project artifacts are completed and handled in accordance with documented standards

• Manage work efforts on a daily basis, identify resource needs, perform quality review; and escalate functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately

• Meet with clients to co-manage projects, present results, and develop new scopes of work

• Ensure acceptance of the project by the customer, completion of various project records, and hand-over to/support and develop new business opportunities

• Control project costs, including cost schedules and variance reports. Meet overall project budget and profitability targets

• Provide clear and timely communication on status of projects – schedule, budget, progress, risks, etc. to all internal and external stakeholders

• Provide mentorship on project engagement best practices to team members

• Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 7-10 years of technical project management experience, overseeing large, multi-functional projects

• 5-7 years of Experience or extensive knowledge within the utility, energy efficiency industry and Demand Respond program management is strongly preferred

• Ability to apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to align customer requirements with Nexant solutions

• Proven customer-facing and relationship building skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deliverable deadlines and budgets

• Excellent written and oral communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

• PMI or PMP certification preferred

• Must be able to travel to local and US client sites up to approximately 50% of the time.
