We are currently seeking a hands-on Project Manager to join Nexant’s Software team at our office in San Francisco, CA. This Project Manager will be involved in the entire product development lifecycle from concept to production working with cross functional teams defining project schedules, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes.

• Ensure successful product & feature releases by coordinating all phases of product development

• Lead the cross-functional team to support the product lifecycle

• Facilitate the day-to-day activities needed to successfully define and deliver the product pipeline

• Responsible for creating and managing detailed project plans, driving product core team meetings, reporting on project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, and facilitating the resolution of any project issues or delays

• Works with cross functional teams to define and implement tools and processes for tracking, dashboards and reporting

• Assists with management of development partners and consultants as needed

• Assists with meeting regulatory compliance and audit requirements

• Provides ongoing feedback on process and delivery improvement

• Other duties as assigned.

• BS or MS in computer science or other engineering discipline or equivalent

• 5+ years of experience in software project management

• Extensive experience working with Agile and cloud based development methodologies

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deliverable deadlines and budgets

• Excellent planning, project management, presentation, and analytical communication skills, backed by strong experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Wiki, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Visio

• Professional certifications in project management preferred

• Experience with SOC II and regulatory compliance is a plus

• Experience within utility industry is a plus.
