About the Job

This position is a telecommuter role within the Northern California Bay Area and will play an integral role in the management and operations of PG&E’s Energy Savings Assistance (ESA) Program. The ESA program assists income-qualified residential customers in reducing their energy use and costs while increasing their comfort, health and safety. Nexant is responsible for administering and overseeing the work performed by a network of subcontractors (trade allies). This position will be responsible for oversight and management of all aspects of work performed by the trade allies and their employees and for coordinating with support resources within Nexant. This is a telecommuter role working remotely, in local customer homes and/or trade ally (subcontractor) offices, for up to 90% or more of their time. Occasional work in Nexant’s San Francisco office and/or home offices may be required. Occasional regional travel for training or other purposes may be required.


Duties and Responsibilities

• Represent Nexant and act as the single point of contact for all issues pertaining to the management of trade allies

• Manage and oversee trade ally production and fiscal goals in relation to all ESA Program matters

• Provide leadership and manage trade allies; make decisions; solve problems; develop procedures; develop records/files; conduct meetings; represent Nexant/program at internal and external meetings

• Ensure trade allies are in compliance with program policies, state laws and local regulations

• Ensure that trade ally staff are trained in ESA Program policies and procedures and have completed all required training

• Monitor all key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure trade allies are achieving contracted goals

• Be a key resource for trade allies, serving as the expert on all aspects of the ESA Program

• Work with trade allies to maintain an active project pipeline to assure goals and objectives are consistently met

• Consistently meet or exceed program expectations related to contractor goals, marketing, communication, client satisfaction and other key performance indicators

• Provide Nexant Program Manager with weekly reports on all trade ally activities

• Communicate and coordinate project activities with utility representatives, end-users and other stakeholders, as needed

• Promptly and accurately address client concerns to assure problem resolution and promote long-term productive relationships. Understand the organization and decision-making process in order to work with stakeholders in determining project eligibility, schedule and contract compliance

• Other duties as needed.


Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business Management, Construction Management or a related field is preferred

• Commensurate work experience with similar responsibilities may suffice in lieu of bachelor’s degree

• 5+ years of relevant experience working with trade allies

• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• A California Driver’s license and clean driving record

• Proficient in MS office suite, GSuite & internet applications

• Six Sigma certification preferred

• Must be able to travel locally up to approximately 4 of 5 work days each week, which may include Saturdays some weeks of the time.
