As Residential Energy Analysts, candidates provide customized solutions that address comfort, energy, and/or indoor air quality concerns for homeowners following the BPI Protocol.

This position is responsible for performing residential energy assessments, as well as performing direct installation of instant energy saving measures. This position requires a technical capacity and strong interpersonal skills. The position includes travel to customer homes, educating customers, performing a comprehensive audit that includes a blower door test, completing paperwork using a laptop to record data, and to provide the customer with appropriate solutions.

The candidate may be based at various locations in Kentucky, but will primarily serve the Louisville and Lexington areas with extended travel to other regions of the state as necessary.

Qualifications:

• BPI Building Analyst Certification preferred
• Prior experience (minimum 1-3 years) in residential construction, conservation or related fields preferred
• Required: Willingness to conduct 3-4 audits per day, with the expectations that some weekday evenings and Saturdays are required
• Strong customer communication skills with proven ability to explain technical concepts and make recommendations in terms that resonate with residential customers
• Possess excellent customer service skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships
• High school or GED equivalent required, college preferred.
