We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Specialist to perform a variety of payment processing and administrative activities for the Demand Management – Implementation Support group in our Salt Lake City, UT office.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with performing high-volume weekly rebate check runs with high-level accuracy, working closely with the incentive fulfillment manager and business processing team
• Track and research outstanding and returned rebate checks, reissuing when necessary to prevent escheatment
• Print letters and marketing materials for check inserts and mail rebate checks
• Maintain electronic and hard-copy file organization, storage, and retrieval pertaining to financial reports, client/vendor invoices, and contracts
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts by completing Cash Receipts, Adjusting Journal Entries, Manual Bills, and Reversing Vouchers accurately and timely.
• Accept additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2+ years’ work experience in accounts payable
• Data entry/processing and office administration experience preferred
• An Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or similar is preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft 2010 Office programs, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Superior organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills are required
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with clients and all levels of internal employees
• Self-motivation and exceptional follow-through skills are a must
• Ability to work through difficult tasks in a professional manner
• Must be able to pass a criminal and financial background screening.
