About the Job
We are seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to support/maintain our Corporate servers (approximately 100 servers) and serve as a backup to support users throughout the company. The position is a technical, hands-on role for an experienced individual with a proven background in systems infrastructures. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, and excel in working independently and in a team environment, with no supervision. Participation in the global team projects and tasks make up the core part of the position. Another primary function is to provide support for Nexant IT Infrastructure -hardware, software, and applications at local and regional offices of Nexant. This involves a highly technical, proprietary environment and applications to Nexant.

Duties and Responsibilities
Application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications
Design, documentation, analysis, selection, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, including proof of concept, based on and related to user or system design specifications
Design, documentation, testing, and modification of computer programs related to machine operating systems
Service the IT needs of the local and regional Nexant employees in line with Corporate IT Policies and process
Participate in Global IT team projects and initiatives
Be available for emergency IT incidents during and after normal business hours when necessary
Participate in addressing Infrastructure issues, both locally and globally
Actively participate in regular team meetings and weekly status updates
Act as a remote representation of IT functions and communications
Work cohesively as part of a large remote team
Ability to work effectively unsupervised locally and provide regular weekly updates to supervisor
Maintain a positive attitude when under pressure
Administration of Service Now, Salesforce, SFTP

Business Unit (BU)-specific IT Support:
Work with BU’s to identify new tools to improve work processes and leverage new technologies to create efficiencies that accelerate business growth
Provide oversight and documentation for current BU IT infrastructure, policies, and procedures. Review and respond to data security questionnaires and audit requests. Coordinate with corporate IT personnel. Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure compliance with client data security requirements
Review BU’s compliance with data security policies on a periodic basis depending on the policy requirements (Quarterly, Semi-Annual, Annual) and be a key part of the policy update process
Act as the first point of contact in the event of a data security breach for the BU and support the BU leads in providing timely communication to clients as required by contracts.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computing or equivalent preferred or relevant certification with technical experience acceptable. Microsoft and Cisco certification preferred
6-8 years of providing IT technical services and support to local and remote end-users
Proficient understanding of Microsoft Server technology Exchange, File/Print/Application servers
Skilled in Directory Services such as AD, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, etc.
Familiar with Network Storage Devices (NetApp & ReadyNAS)
Proficient in virtualization (vCenter/vmWare)
Strong proficiency administering G Suite, Windows 7, Server 2008, 2012 technology
Ability to support regional Network needs With Cisco routers, switches, and Access Points
Comfortable with Cisco Call Manager, Unified Messaging, and Cisco Call Center
Write scripts to automate tasks, debug/troubleshoot issues and document configuration and processes
Must be able to travel locally (domestic and potentially international) up to approximately 10% of the time.
