About the Job

Nexant seeks a Business Process Coordinator to join the Business Processing team in Salt Lake City to work on the continuous improvement of energy efficiency program implementation in the Business Processing unit by supporting remediation and onboarding efforts in application processing and customer service implementation for utility energy efficiency programs.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

·       Provide a central point of contact for clients

·       Identify steps to address client needs, both immediately and preventatively

·       Coordinate internal resources to effectively deliver tangible results for clients

·       Coordinate communications regarding various programs with Project Managers and key Business Process staff

·       Track and ensure internal deadlines are met on program initiatives, improvements, and remediation efforts

·       Build and enact project plans to ensure satisfaction of clients

·       Gain deep understanding of clients to ensure that customer satisfaction levels are continually maintained and improved upon

·       Build and maintain client relationships and address client needs to ultimately support long-lasting win-win relationships

·       Work with peers to allocate appropriate resources for initiatives

·       Supporting transition plans for new and/or expiring work within Business Processing

·       Provide support with proof reading, editing and contributing toward presentations, papers and proposals

·       Other duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree plus three years’ work experience, or a relevant combination of education, work, and skill set

·       2+ years of experience in project or program management or a similar field

·       Demonstrated ability to build, track, and implement project plans

·       Demonstrated ability to coordinate teams to solve problems and achieve desired on-time outcomes

·       Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects

·       Excellent writing and communication skills are mandatory, both client-facing and internally

·       Superior organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills are required

·        Self-motivation and exceptional follow-through

·       Ability to work through difficult tasks in a professional manner

·       Ability to think critically, develop high quality deliverables and ensure solutions meet client requirements

·       Analytical approach and strong problem solving skills with strength for root cause identification

·       Very strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

·       Experience with project management tools and software solutions

·       Experience in energy, environmental policy or sustainability field strongly desired

·       Must be able to pass a complete background test and drug screening.
