About the Job

 A highly motivated, marketing management professional who is skilled at keeping projects on task, meeting deadlines, and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. This individual should be comfortable working in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, inventive, and hardworking. Marketing experience is preferred. 


Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Provides detailed project management and professional communication with key contacts as needed
  • Develops, contributes to, and implements marketing projects and strategies
  • Supports corporate marketing activities including: management of day-to-day administrative tasks; creates/tracks deadlines, progress, and reports; plans meetings; prepares agendas; prepares and reviews quotes/specs
  • Fields and processes internal requests
  • Strengths: Highly detail oriented; strong communication (verbal and written); excellent organizational abilities; numbers/budget/time manage
  • Assist with increasing brand awareness through social media and other digital and marketing platforms
    • Social media coordination -  posting, tracking, analysis, research
    • Public relations – writing press releases and maintaining media contacts
    • Event coordination - assist and execute pre- and post-event marketing strategies
  • Marketing metrics tracking and analysis
  • Website management – content posting/updating using CMS
  • Help to establish and maintain compelling content for digital campaigns
  • Strengths: highly detail oriented, strong communication (verbal and written), excellent organizational abilities, numbers/budget/time management
  • Other duties as assigned. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BBA, BA, or BS) in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or related field or equivalent experience required
  • 1-3 years of administrative/sales/marketing experience
  • Basic graphic design skills
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience preferred
  • Energy efficiency industry experience a plus
  • Ability to edit, proof, fact check, and coordinate projects for a variety of marketing communications
  • Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and have strong attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in particular
  • Proficiency in G-Suite is preferred, experience with project management and communication tools a plus
  • HTML & CMS (web maintenance) experience a plus
  • Video editing and production skills and experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
