The Software and Information Systems practice of Nexant is an engineering and consulting group with a reputation for building cutting edge software solutions for our clients. Due to a major expansion agenda, we have a need as regular, full-time employee for heading the Delivery from our India Center.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position will work with the General Manager-Global Delivery. Primary Responsibilities are:
- Quarterly forecasts for Delivery Person hour and Financials
- Quarterly review for the employee performance
- Thought leadership for reduction of 'Time-to-Market' for Product Enhancement & Upgrade cycles through effective implementation of DevOps
- Provide over site to Stream Leads (Product Development, Product Support, Project Support)
- Ensure Delivery Commitments across all the streams
- Ensure Delivery and Quality Processes are followed by all the Streams
- Be a Single Point of Contact for Delivery escalations
Qualifications
- Successful candidate shall have Energy domain background & minimum 20 years of experience in managing large contract to deliver on the financial targets
- Hands-on experience for managing large teams,
- Proven track record of delivering large and complex projects with geographically distributed teams,
- Applying industry best practices of Project management, people management. experience in software quality assurance and leading large teams
- Must have performed Audit & Compliance activities towards Data Privacy
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
- Must have PMP certification
- Have thorough understanding of the DevOps implementation, Agile Delivery, Automation in testing
- Understanding of Cloud, Block chain is desirable
