About the Job

Nexant is searching for a creative and organized marketing manager to oversee corporate marketing functions of this multi-faceted global company. This position will report to the Director of Marketing, and will have direct accountability to the CEO and other executive-level leadership to advance Nexant’s image as experts in the energy industry. The marketing manager will oversee the employees, subcontractors, and consultants currently supporting corporate marketing initiatives. This position is responsible for ensuring brand integrity, delivering internal and external communications and marketing, and revenue growth of Nexant’s digital marketing services team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures efforts and components of the corporate marketing team align with and meet goals
  • Support internal and external communication and marketing campaigns
  • Represents various business units within Nexant to develop and execute marketing strategy
  • Develops and maintains industry relationships
  • Proactive communication among internal stakeholders and partners
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborating on cross functional projects.
  • Manages risk by identifying and reporting potential roadblocks to budget, resources, and timelines
  • Oversees day-to-day management of marketing plan
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BBA, BA, or BS) in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or related field or equivalent experience required
  • Seven plus years of professional marketing experience
  • Experience: Sales/customer service focused; excellent communication (verbal/presentation and written); problem solving; excellent organizational abilities; numbers/budget/time management. Experience in media and public relations is a plus; project management; experience managing digital marketing and websites; experience in the energy industry is a plus.
  • Superior time management and organizational capabilities, including the ability to deliver on deadlines and manage a high-volume workload; superior attention to detail. Highly motivated, self-starter.
  • Polished presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in managing clients on a regional level
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Expert knowledge of and expertise in Microsoft Office 2010-2016.

  • Director of Marketing is immediate supervisor and will work in a team capacity to develop and execute corporate marketing plans and initiatives

Salary and Benefits (U.S.)
