A/R Responsibilities:

·    Manage and review A/R activities, including generating customer statements and posting deposits

·    Monitor A/R status for all customers and place collection calls

·    Maintain and create accurate filing and record keeping systems

A/P  Responsibilities:

·    Match purchase order with invoices, verify accuracy and ensure proper account coding for  timely payment processing

·    Set up new vendors with proper coding

·    Enter invoices into the accounting systems

·    Effectively and timely answer inquiries from employees and vendors regarding accounts payable for all related matters

Extras:

·    Continuously improve and effectively communicate all accounting processes; must be cable  of providing staff process orientations

·    Play a role in the implementation of process and systems improvements

·    Familiar with account reconciliations, general ledger, and various accounting functions

Desired Skills and Experience:

·    AA Degree in accounting or business administration

·    At least 5 years of hands-on general ledger accounting experience

·    Software or technology sector experience a plus

·    Guru level Quick Books skills coupled with top notch Excel skills

·    Passion for using software applications to improve job effectiveness

·    Self-directed, resourceful, with an agile mind – you can switch priorities quickly and your memory is remarkable
