Today’s targeted drug delivery and infusion needs require confident coordination among physicians, provider staff, and patients. BHI helps connect all three to allow doctors to extend care beyond the office, provider staff to centralize management for greater efficiency, and patients to receive TDD right in their own home with experienced nurses. BHI helps bring physicians, provider staff, and patients together for Better Home Infusion.

This is a full-time Monday-Friday position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, fills and compounds medications using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
  • Maintains the pharmacy according to USP 797 standards. This includes maintenance, cleaning, testing, and re-certification of the prep room, ante room, and the clean room.
  • Maintain and provide drug usage reports to our pharmaceutical partners as requested.
  • Maintains inventory levels of supplies needed by both pharmacy and nursing.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by a pharmacist.
  • Participate in the quality assurance programs for patient care.
  • Coordinate pharmacy services with nursing services in order to provide safe and appropriate patient care.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician
  • Preferred CPhT certification
  • Compounding experience
  • Sterile compounding certification preferred
  • Sterile compounding experience preferred
