What you’ll do in this role:
- Support client engagements which could include:
- Sustainability strategy and program development
- Sustainability reporting advisory
- Measurement of social and environmental impact of client products, services, and initiatives
- Development of social or environmental investment theses and measurement criteria
- Mentor analysts and interns
- Contribute to thought leadership and content development
- Support business development and proposals
Required qualifications:
- Track record of contributing to large and complex projects
- Robust communication skills, with ability to convey complex ideas clearly through PowerPoint and other media
- Strong ability to analyze quantitative data, build models, and interpret findings using Excel coupled with the ability to identify the "So what?"
- Demonstrated experience with ESG reporting frameworks including CSRD, TCFD, GRI and SASB
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2-3 years’ full-time experience in management consulting focused on ESG, sustainability, corporate strategy, CSR, climate, or related field
- In-depth knowledge in one or more technical areas: nature & biodiversity, decarbonization, water, waste, supply chain responsibility, human rights, and/or social impact
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple workstreams
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or graduate degree in a sustainability-related field
- Experience with GHG emissions accounting
- Experience with the role of ESG in finance and understanding the flow of capital towards responsible business practices

What to expect from this interview process:
- Successful candidates will receive notice that they have been selected for a first round interview (30 minutes)
- Leading candidates will be invited to complete a short assignment and will be invited to present their case study in their second and final panel interview (45 minutes)

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $135,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and certifications. Impact Pathways complies with all applicable minimum wage laws.
