We are currently seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant with a strong background in high-volume phlebotomy to join our motivated and results-driven healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-volume phlebotomy (70+ draws per day)
- Enter patient data accurately into electronic systems
- Assist physicians with procedures including:
- Inseminations
- Hysterosalpingograms
- Hysteroscopies
- Oocyte retrievals
(On-the-job training provided for these procedures)
- Clean and sterilize equipment using autoclave
- Stock and maintain exam rooms
- Schedule surgeries and coordinate patient appointments
Schedule:
- 20–25 hours/week, based on patient volume
- Monday–Friday, with shifts starting as early as 5:30 AM
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
- Weekend/Holiday shifts: 5:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Certification in medical assisting or phlebotomy highly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a medical assistant with high-volume phlebotomy
- Strong venipuncture skills, including ability to draw from difficult patients
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer data entry and retrieval
- Reliable and punctual, with flexibility for early morning shifts
