We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Nurse to join our team on a PRN basis.
Position Summary:
As a PRN PACU Nurse, you will play a vital role in the post-anesthesia care of patients undergoing fertility-related procedures. You will ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia following outpatient procedures.
- Provide post-operative care, including pain management, vital sign monitoring, and discharge education.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards.
- Uphold infection control and patient safety standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 2 years of PACU, critical care, or surgical nursing experience preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Experience in women’s health or fertility care is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on clinic needs.
