Position Overview 

We are seeking a skilled, driven, and agile Product Designer to take ownership of the creative aspects of our product features. In this critical role, you will help shape and uphold the UX team’s philosophies and best practices—designing within brand constraints while collaborating with fellow designers to thoughtfully develop a new design system for future projects. Your work will ensure that all solutions meet the highest standards of usability, discoverability, credibility, desirability, and accessibility while delivering real value to users. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Assume ownership of select design projects including defining problems, ideating solutions, designing journeys and interactive prototypes, validating, and documenting critical experience requirements in development user stories. 

  • Take a design thinking approach to quickly define problems and formulate designs that align with both business and user goals within engineering constraints. 

  • Thoughtfully critique and improve design work of other designers.  

  • Form test plans and hypotheses, conduct user research with usability testing and competitive analysis to inform design decisions and ensure a deep understanding of user needs. 

  • Create sketches, wireframes, low-fidelity concepts, and high-fidelity interactive visual prototypes within Figma for web and mobile applications. 

  • Contribute to a shared design language, a design system with style-inherited interactive components, and build cohesion between different companies and software applications built or bought. 

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience. 

  • Stay current with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and seek opportunities to improve the team’s design processes and outcomes. 

Who You Are 

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showing your work. 

  • Experience in driving design projects cross-functionally in a product- and technology-driven environments. 

  • Expertise in design thinking and user-centered design methodologies. 

  • Proficiency in Figma. 

  • Understanding of responsive web design, accessibility, design systems, auto layout, and interactive components. 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work independently across multiple projects simultaneously on a growing team and evolving environment.
