Summary:

Operations Coordinator includes overseeing all aspects of distribution through the warehouse location, guiding, organizing, motivating, and delegating the workload ensuring that the team works together providing quality customer service and maintains a comprehensive understanding of customer rules and regulations.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining an open communication with Customer Service, Sr. Manager of Distribution and VP of Distribution on any potential delays in shipping, cancelations, or errors on orders or staged inventory throughout the warehouse.
  • Work in conjunction with Sr. Manager of Distribution and other operations coordinators to ensure that all orders are processed in a timely manner.
  • Assist with training and development of all warehouse employees.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of all hourly personnel including seasonal employees.
  • Partner with Customer Service department on means to effectively prioritize orders as needed.
  • Ability to perform all functions expected of an Equipment Operator.
  • Ability to run and understand reports to check the status ranging from inventory levels, order status, BOL status, and carton information.
  • Assist with the evaluation of the effectiveness of work methods, procedures, and staffing to achieve accurate movement and timing in all processes of the product from inbound to outbound processes.
  • Cross train with other operations coordinators to ensure coverage is available in all areas when needed.
  • Assist with training on processes and equipment for all new hires.
  • Promote safety procedures and policies.
  • Partner with Sr. Manager of Distribution and other coordinators in creating effective training programs.
  • Maintain All C-TPAT regulations.
  • Must remain confidential about private and sensitive information.
  • Must have experience with Excel and MS Word working knowledge of internet.
  • Ability to work productively and effectively in all functions of the warehouse under demanding and pressing time frames.
