Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Manage all aspects of primary and secondary packaging needs for Royce Brands, concept through finished product. Collaborate with all functional areas of the company and global manufacturing and printing/converting facilities to provide the highest quality packaging for Royce’s retail customers. Ensure timely shipping of packaging to ensure Royce meets all financial goals.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Develop retail packaging structures, concept through procurement with cross functional Royce Teams (Brand/Sales/external graphic artists), packaging vendors, and factories to meet required shipping deadlines.
- Experience in managing corrugated trays and displays, both technical specifications, raw materials, and printing, are a requirement for this position.
- Manage all final graphic art files between Brand and printers, and ensure all files meet Royce’s SOP’s storage retention requirements.
- Develop and issue finished goods packaging specifications (managed in Excel spreadsheet templates) to all manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure packaging quality, material and aesthetics meet company documented standards.
- Annually manage updates for Royce’s Vendor Partnership Manual with compliance team.
- Collaborate with sourcing team to negotiate packaging contracts for best price and delivery to manufacturing facilities. Ensure all packaging vendors and factories adhere to the specifications of annual contracts.
- Work with the sourcing team and printers on cost reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with sourcing team when onboarding new printing sources and manufacturing facilities.
Education/Experience:
- BS degree
- 4-6 years related experience in packaging management, internal and with global factories and packaging sources.
- Experienced knowledge base of raw materials and multiple printing/converting technologies.
- Experience knowledge of management of digital graphic files.

- Efficiency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet application.
