OVERVIEW OF ROLE OR HOW THE ROLE MAKES AN IMPACT

 

GALE Pacific is seeking a highly motivated Sales Analyst for the Home Center Channel (including/but not limited to The Home Depot and Lowe’s Home Improvement Accounts). This role is focused on sourcing, monitoring, and reporting daily and weekly sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities to increase distribution.  This is a collaborative position requiring strong cross functional communication to implement revenue-generating and margin improvement strategies throughout North America and Latin America.    

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Farm & report daily sales performance including point of sales data, margin analysis, retailer metrics and inventory
  • Inputs forecast for monthly sales supply guidance
  • Identify trends and opportunities for the Coolaroo brand and future Gale initiatives
  • Collaborate with colleagues on multi-year retailer strategies
  • Navigation of customer portals
  • Input master data, item set up and retailer connections 
  • Input retailer promotions 
  • Handle administrative and tactical duties, such as submitting quotes
  • Monitoring and analyzing competitive activity, customer, and market trends
  • Providing actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 Yrs. analytical experience in retail or consumer products manufacturing (preferred)
  • Expert skill set with Microsoft Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
  • ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SalesForce, HubSpot preferred
  • High preference for PowerBI proficiency
  • Experience with Lowe’s VPP and Home Depot Supplier Hub preferred
