Anovion Technologies is seeking an Accounting Manager. This person will be responsible for managing multiple accounting functions and operations such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue, fixed assets, capital projects, internal controls, and government grant compliance. This position will report to the Controller and will be responsible for managing other accounting professionals.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
1. Oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
2. Evaluates accounting processes and systems and implements optimizations.
3. Develop, implement, and maintain accounting principles, company policies, internal controls, and industry regulations.
4. Assist in internal and external audits related to accounting.
5. Implements accounting policies and procedures that adhere to GAAP Standards.
6. Maintain compliance with governmental grant requirements.
7. Support tax preparers for timely and accurate submission of all required tax deliverables.
8. Develops and directs accounting professionals and support staff.
9. Assist in product costing, product manufacturing analysis, and inventory valuation with E&O analysis.
10. Prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations for senior management to aid decision-making processes.
11. Consistently promote and communicate Anovion’s core values through work performance and excellent customer service.
12. Analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
13. Support forecast, budget, and long-range plan processes.
14. Liaise with cross-functional departments to develop and maintain efficient financial processes.

Working Environment
While performing the essential responsibilities of this position, team member generally will work in a manufacturing environment. While in manufacturing areas, the team member may also be exposed to moderate background noise, moderate amounts of airborne graphite dust, presence of natural and artificial light, exposure to work temperatures from ambient to controlled, hard surfaces for standing and walking. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required.
