Anovion is seeking a Senior Capital Project Engineer for new graphite powder plants to be built in the US.  This role includes collaboration with a team of contracted EPC engineers during the design, procurement, and construction phases of this 2-5 year project. This position will be remote during that time.

Responsibilities
1.      Assist VP of Engineering with management and oversight of contracted EPC firm who is designing and building the new Anovion manufacturing plants.
2.      Play an active role in the development of the safety culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed.
3.      Identify and recommend opportunities for safety, quality, and process improvement.
4.      Lead projects (including Kaizen) requiring inter-departmental inputs and coordination aimed at improving efficiencies and quality of the new plant.
5.      Identify problems through trend analysis and facilitate independent or team driven problem-solving using root cause analysis.
6.      Perform other tasks as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to spend large amounts of time sitting or standing in front of a computer screen; frequently required to stand; occasionally required to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds and power lifts.  Team member may be required from time to time to lift or carry up to 20 pounds.

Work Environment 
While performing the essential responsibilities of this position the team member will work in multiple areas including telecommuting, corporate offices, factory areas and the laboratory.  The team member may also be exposed to moderate background noise, moderate amounts of airborne graphite dust, presence of natural and artificial light, exposure to work temperatures from ambient to controlled, hard surfaces for standing and walking.  Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn where required.
