Position Summary:

The SampleIQ Account Manager, Sr. will be responsible for managing pharmaceutical customer accounts, customer value projects, and building new business. This position will pursue and promote total customer satisfaction by overseeing delivery of all services, proactively establishing sound business relationships, engaging in value building activity, and being the link between the customer and the greater Synergistix organization.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single point of contact for all customer-related matters and act as a communication bridge between internal departments and customers. 
  • Learn the customer’s business by “Seeking to Understand” their ways of working and strategy.
  • Monitor client business environment to identify opportunities to expand Synergistix contracted services.
  • Translate business needs into proposed solutions to align with the customer.
  • Manage the proposed solution’s cost estimates, proposals, and specifications.
  • Provide oversight, follow-up, and measures of success for implementing projects.
  • Foster customer partnerships to ensure joint alignment of short and long-term goals.
  • Serve as an internal customer advocate and coordinate day-to-day operational tasks and customer interactions. 
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert and assist other Client Service team members and organizations in areas of expertise.  
  • Initiate, participate and lead departmental and intradepartmental task forces and initiatives to improve client processes.
  • Oversee and follow-through on all matters related to client billing.
  • Provide customer feedback to internal groups concerning new products and improvements to existing products.
  • Occasional travel may be required up to 20%.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Compliance with all personnel policies.

Education, Experience, and Technical Skills:

  • A minimum of ten plus years of life science work experience in a combination of client services, sample compliance/management or sales, or at manager’s discretion.
  • Seven to Ten years of PDMA and/or pharmaceutical sample operations experience strongly desired.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Extensive background and experience in program/project management.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with    cross-functional teams in order to achieve business and customer goals.
  • Experience working and supporting a pharmaceutical sales organization strongly desired.
