Position Summary:
The Implementation Project Manager will primarily be responsible for configuring and implementing Synergistix SFA software for our clients to ensure the overall success of the project and guarantee client satisfaction throughout the implementation process.
This position will require an acting Project Manager to ensure delivery schedules are on time and will be met. This will require meeting with technical and business members of the client staff to gather business requirements and configuration requirements to insure specifications are met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
§ Configure company application to meet client business requirements.
§ Communicate configuration requirements, timelines and potential issues with internal software development staff to insure proper delivery of the system.
§ Prepare and revise project documentation in support of software implementation, project planning, change control, and requirements management.
§ Must be able to translate business requirements into system functionality.
§ Determine critical path items to align client expectations and goals.
§ Seamlessly transition projects to client services.
§ Ensure that the project is delivered on time and produces high quality results.
§ Act as an overall quality control on project deliverables.
§ Translate client business requirements into functional requirements to ensure they are in line with business objectives.
§ Must be familiar with systems development life cycles and project management practices.
§ Work with technical writer on the development of training materials.
§ Provide onsite support for roll-outs and software training.
§ Up to 50% travel may be required.
§ Other duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Competencies:

Education, Experience & Technical Skills:
§ Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience in a client service environment strongly desired. Proven pharmaceutical software industry experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
§ Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus.
§ Must have a strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL Server preferred.
§ SQL Query experience required.
§ Experience in configuring software applications for clients.
§ Working knowledge of MS Office tools including Excel, Word, Project and Access.
