Role Description

The Community Sales Executive is the face of Omni Fiber within the communities we serve. This role is accountable for increasing the number of Omni Fiber customers and community event representation within the assigned market(s). The Community Sales Executive will work to increase the overall subscriber base by primarily conducting face-to-face and in-home sales presentations (such as residential door-to-door selling, local community events, and other activities as assigned).

In this role, you'll:

  • Achieve or exceed a monthly sales quote by selling door-to-door to residential customers promoting Omni Fiber’s internet, voice, and TV services in assigned territories/communities.
  • Outbound call, email, and in-person visits to prospects and existing customers to sell new services and recommend product upgrades.
  • Participate in activities that promote Omni Fiber Products and Services, i.e., trade fairs, city events, informational sessions, etc., during business and non-business hours (with some evenings and weekends) to generate leads and sales.
  • Seek out and create opportunities to increase penetration and generate new revenue.
  • Ensure effective distribution and use of marketing materials.
  • Attend regularly occurring sales meetings and trainings.
  • Update the CRM software using accurate parameters to track contacts, sales, follow-ups, etc.
  • Work cross functional with all Omni Fiber team members to ensure an unparalleled customer journey.
  • Have a thorough understanding of all Omni Fiber products and services and be able to effectively communicate those to prospective customers.
  • Identify potential marketing opportunities and report those to the Director of Marketing.
  • Identify competitive threats and report those to the sale and marketing leadership.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in sales, account management or customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relationship-building skills with internal and external customers.
  • Proficient in computer usage with good typing skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Positive attitude as to properly represent Omni Fiber in local communities.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

It's preferred if you have:

  • Experience working for an ISP, Telecom provider, or other direct-to-consumer industries.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other lead management software.

Compensation:

Competitive wages + Uncapped Commission + Benefits

Target compensation is $70,000 and up to $120,000 for potential, overachievement at 50% above target.
