About UPROXX Studios

UPROXX Studios is where brands meet the energy of music culture. Through music videos, original shows, and live experiences, we connect with millions of fans across YouTube, CTV, and social platforms. As the #1 most-viewed music video network in the U.S., we deliver culture-shaping content that drives deep engagement and real-world impact.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a highly creative and culture-savvy Coordinator, Social & Content Strategy to help grow UPROXX’s visibility and credibility across social media. In this role, you’ll shape platform-specific content that amplifies artist discovery, drives engagement, and reinforces our brand’s voice in music and youth culture.

You’ll collaborate across editorial, video, and design teams to execute high-performing, original content that reaches fans where they live online—and evolves our brand identity in meaningful, strategic ways.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Ideation & Creation

  • Generate original, platform-specific content that goes beyond reactive news posting.

  • Develop high-performing posts using UPROXX’s voice and templates

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support tentpole initiatives (e.g., Sound + Vision, Grammy Events, Visionaries)

  • Demonstrate expertise across relevant music focuses as well as style, entertainment, and other culture priorities.

  • Drive strategy and execution across the following handles (others TBD as programming and priorities expand):

    • @Uproxx (Main)

    • @IndieMixtape

    • @CountryMixtape (if relevant to your music taste)

  • Potential for on-camera/hosted content

Audience Development

  • Strengthen UPROXX’s presence as a trusted voice in music by spotlighting top-tier, mid-level, and emerging artists.

  • Drive the evolution of a tastemaking brand identity—where audiences turn to UPROXX to discover new talent, stories, and trends

  • Grow UPROXX’s style-forward audience by leveraging cultural expertise and content strategy

KPIs & Performance Standards

Content Output & Cadence

  • Produce and publish ~30 pieces of weekly content across UPROXX social channels, adjusting by handle based on performance, priority, and programming

  • Collaborate with Senior Director, Editorial & Content Strategy, to align weekly post volume with evolving goals and strategic needs

  • Stay closely connected with editorial leadership through regular check-ins to ensure content priorities, cadence, and channel strategy are in sync

  • Maintain a compelling and culturally relevant presence by balancing timely news, evergreen narratives, original ideas, and artist-led storytelling

Brand & Aesthetic Consistency

  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice and visual standards

  • Monitor grids for balance in artist tier, genre, and format (Reels, carousels, quote cards, etc.)

  • Uphold high creative standards and detail orientation across all posts

Success Indicators:

  • Average 10,000+ interactions per post (likes, comments, shares)

  • Several viral posts weekly (20K+ likes)

  • Growth in followers, reach, and engagement across key demos

  • Recognition for consistently featuring emerging artists

  • Content that sparks cultural conversation and talent reposts

Qualifications:

  • Experience creating content in a media, music, or culture-driven brand

  • Strong instincts for platform trends and social storytelling
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Passion for music, style, and elevating emerging voices in culture

  • Availability for West Coast PM hours and occasional weekend work
