ABOUT THE ROLE

The Data Program Specialist is the organizational owner of data integrity, ICP governance, and structural logic clarity across all customer programs. This role ensures Program Managers receive accurate, validated datasets aligned to approved ICP definitions and internal data standards. This is not a Data Services delivery role. Instead, the Data Program Specialist provides the upstream structure, validation, documentation, and clarity that support predictable execution across all PODs.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

ICP Governance & Logic Management

  • Own all ICP versions, taxonomies, mapping rules, and segmentation logic.
  • Maintain the authoritative source of truth for customer logic and data structures.
  • Document logic updates, dependencies, and rationale in a standardized and accessible format.
  • Ensure Program Managers operate from aligned and current ICP definitions.

 

Data Integrity & Quality Assurance

  • Identify invalid contacts, incorrect companies, misclassified industries, duplicates, and structural inconsistencies.
  • Conduct routine data audits to confirm alignment with ICP criteria and targeting rules.
  • Validate data prior to use, ensuring accuracy, readiness, and clarity on potential risks.
  • Maintain internal data quality standards across all customer programs.

 

Pre-Build Validation & Workflow Readiness

  • Validate customer requirements, field dependencies, and logic feasibility before execution.
  • Ensure Data Services and Systems receive complete, correct, and fully validated specifications.
  • Prevent rework by identifying risks and alignment issues early and documenting findings clearly.

 

Program Manager Support & Data Interpretation

  • Provide Program Managers with clear explanations of ICP logic, mapping rules, and structural requirements.
  • Deliver concise notes on dataset validity, risks, and required corrections.
  • Translate complex data logic into understandable operational guidance.

 

Issue Identification & Root Cause Analysis

  • Diagnose data issues, inconsistencies, and ICP deviations.
  • Conduct structured root cause analysis across data, logic, and workflow issues.
  • Recommend structural corrections and track resolution to ensure long-term stability.

 

Reporting & Documentation

  • Produce weekly updates on data integrity, ICP compliance, and quality trends.
  • Maintain complete documentation for ICP definitions, taxonomies, logic changes, and validation frameworks.
  • Provide concise visibility summaries to internal leadership.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience & Background

  • 2+ years in Sales Data Operations, CRM Operations, Program Operations, or a similar analytical role.
  • Experience working with structured datasets, segmentation logic, ICP frameworks, or data validation processes.
  • Background supporting GTM, demand generation, or revenue operations environments preferred.
  • Advanced Google Sheets (complex formulas, audit logic, mapping controls).
  • Salesforce or HubSpot experience (objects, fields, relationships).

  • Ability to translate complex data logic into accessible guidance for non-technical stakeholders.
  • High ownership and accountability for data quality and structural accuracy.
