Villatel Orland Resort is currently seeking a Food & Beverage Expeditor / Quality Assurance who will be responsible for ensuring that all food and beverage orders meet established quality, presentation, accuracy, and service standards before reaching the guest. This role acts as the critical link between the kitchen and service teams, ensuring timely execution, consistency, and exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the final quality checkpoint for all food and beverage orders prior to delivery or service
  • Verify order accuracy, portioning, plating, temperature, and presentation standards
  • Ensure all items meet brand, health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Coordinate timing and flow of orders between kitchen, bar, and service teams
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with culinary and service staff to resolve issues quickly
  • Monitor ticket times and prioritize orders during peak service periods
  • Identify and address quality or service concerns proactively to prevent guest dissatisfaction
  • Support service recovery efforts when needed by notifying leadership of delays or issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized expediting area in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Uphold company values, hospitality standards, and guest-first culture at all times.

 

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food & beverage service, culinary operations, or hospitality required
  • Strong understanding of food quality, presentation, and service standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe required)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [30] lbs. as required
