The GM primarily focus on business and organization transformation, and to develop new strategies to drive sales growth in the coming years. The GM will be responsible for overall P&L, sales, operations and performance by providing inputs into core business strategies, executing strategy, driving new business development whilst ensuring the commercial success, functionality and sustainability of the organization. 


Key attributes such as entrepreneurial drive, a high level of independence, interpersonal skills, persistent and determination are essential to excel in this role. This role also provides a visible impact on the growth of our business. It is of essence that the GM can drive sales, socialize with partners and motivate his team to top sales performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility of the business, P&L and contribute to the long-term strategic growth, organization and business development.
  • The GM will “own” the monthly and quarterly revenue target.
  • Manage sales functions and oversee overall operations, including business development, accurate monthly forecasting, product marketing, pre-sales, professional services, customer support, strategic planning, budgeting, and regulatory affairs.
  • Identify key areas of sales growth, as well as providing and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Play a critical role with Global/APAC to align key corporate initiatives and operations.
  • Recruit, develop, represent and manage the best talent in the local markets.
  • Act as an advocate for Atlona’s key customers and partners in APAC, deepen strategic relationships and generate strong business results.
  • Be the key spokesperson for Atlona and represent Atlona at industry events.
  • Honesty, Integrity and trust with good track record.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven management experience either at Country or at a business level.
  • Proven track record in leading and driving business growth under highly competitive environment in APAC and Hong Kong.
  • Entrepreneurial approach to business and understanding channel sales and project cycles.
  • Experience in IT, Audio and Video related technologies and ecosystems.

·         BA/BS in marketing or business management preferred.

  • Experience in working in a fast-paced high growth environment.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic growth initiatives by working with dealer’s channel, strategic partners and alliances. 
  • Experience in organization transformation.
  • Command respect from the current leadership team.
  • On the ground experience in APAC and Hong Kong and understanding across the board spectrum of the industry.
  • Strong leadership, ability to attract, develop and motivate a highly professional team
  • Unquestioned business ethics and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage at C-level.

This position reports to the Director and will work alongside with Sales Director APAC
