About us
Fabric Clinical Genomic Services provides end-to-end genetic analysis for hospital-based,
academic, and reference laboratories. This includes quality control, triage, case interpretation,
variant classification, and reporting within a CLIA/CAP regulated environment. We review
thousands of genomes, exomes, and panels each year and work with some of the top institutions
in the world.
The Role
We are seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Contract Gene Panel Curators responsible
for classifying variants according to ACMG criteria and writing content for provider-facing reports.
These variants will come from people being tested for various gene panels, including those with
suspected hereditary cancer predisposition, neurological disease, cardiac disease, and other
conditions. These curators are trained to use the AI-powered Fabric Enterprise software system
according to Fabric Clinical standard-operating-procedures. The hours are flexible, and curators
will learn from and work directly with experts in this field, including genetic counselors, variant
scientists, and laboratory directors.
