About the Role


The Program Manager will drive tactical and strategic programs with goTenna’s key government customers to drive mission impact. This is both a strategic and a technical tactical role which requires a close partnership with technology developers, product, business stakeholders, executive management, and others. The Program Manager will have strong collaboration, communication, leadership, planning and execution skills. Executive presentations, report delivery, identifying and measuring KPIs, and running effective and useful meetings will be key components of the job.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with goTenna’s government customers to lead and execute strategic development and integration of goTenna off-grid networking technology to drive mission impact.

  • Develop, track, and analyze detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

  • Conduct project/program meetings in coordination and collaboration with customers, goTenna staff, vendors, and others as needed.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards for program deliverables and to government contract requirements.

  • Coordinate meetings, test events, and demonstrations to showcase technical capabilities to customer audiences.

  • Lead contractual agreement drafting with partners and vendors related to program delivery.

  • Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.

  • Develop and communicate multiple program roadmaps internally and diligently update internal data systems. Effectively communicate in-flight and planned programs with metrics, KPIs, risks, dependencies, obstacles, and mitigation plans.


Required Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Five(5)+ years of technical program management experience background; working with contracts and contract language a plus.

  • Experience supporting CBP, Air Force, and/or other local, state, or Federal Government agencies

  • Experience managing government programs and developing and strengthening key Customer relationships.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment across large organizations and negotiating tradeoffs.

  • Experience in core program management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management.

  • Excellent communication skills, including oral, written and presentation.


Preferred Experience

  • PMP Certification

  • Experience managing SBIR development projects

  • Technical experience related to hardware and software development, networking, or wireless communications

  • Five (5)+ years working with digital technology teams

  • Experience working in agile/SCRUM environments


ITAR: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Required

Placement at the appropriate job level (entry, senior, etc) will be determined by a combination of years of experience, demonstration of proficiency in this field, and other qualifications.
