The Opportunity


InCharge Energy is seeking a Senior Manager, Sales Enablement, to drive our sales team to the next level. As part of the Sales team, you will be working with the Sales Leadership Team to enact organizational changes, develop and establish strategy in actionable steps, and drive continued revenue growth. The ideal candidate will develop a cohesive sales enablement strategy and program that considers all customer-facing roles, aligning with the business’ strategic priorities. We are looking for a savvy, curious and proactive person that can challenge the status quo to enable InCharge to continue to grow.


What You’ll Do

                  Work with sales leaders to develop and adopt sales team organizational change and strategy to adapt to changing and emerging markets.

                  Become the central point of coordination on the Sales team regarding all things related to Sales Enablement (strategy, communications, campaigns planning, partner outreach, sales training, customer success, channel sales, etc.).

                  Understand customer needs through market research and the voice of customers. Deploy design thinking tools ranging from personas, user journey maps, and feature definitions to communicate these to the team.

                  Working with our marketing team Develop presentations and marketing materials to support our Sales teams ensuring consistency of messaging and branding.

                  Develop and implement a comprehensive sales enablement strategy, including onboarding, ongoing training, coaching, and performance management programs.

                  Establish and maintain a sales training curriculum that covers product knowledge, sales methodologies, competitive intelligence, and industry trends.

                  Work with the Sales Support Manager to ensure that the Sales team is using the latest sales procedures for order processing, billing, and fulfillment.

                  Work with the Sales Support Manager to establish document sharing organization and procedures to ensure that sales documents are organized in an accessible and organized structure.

                  Relate all marketing efforts back to a measurable return on investment to ensure we reach our sales goals

                  Develop rhythm to conduct on-going needs assessments and “spot checks” to ensure consistent global adoption of key sales enablement services and programs.

                  Lead an ongoing Sales Enablement Council to ensure a constant feedback loop is established between Sales, Partner, Sales Enablement, Marketing, Product, and other teams.

                  Guide thought leadership on best practices to build sales and external partner relevant enablement content and messaging.

                  Perform additional responsibilities as assigned


Your Experience and Capabilities


  • Bachelor’s degree in a marketing, communications, and/or business-related field

·        7+ years of relevant professional experience across enablement and customer-facing roles

  • A track record of developing and leading impactful strategic enablement programs.
  • Agility and success with working in extremely fast-paced environments
  • A forward-thinking viewpoint of enablement and the key imperatives of the discipline
  • A collaborative mentality working cross-functionally with partner, sales, product management, product marketing, sales operations, and technical teams at all levels in the organization.

·        Experience with SalesForce CRM System.

  • Effective communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills
  • Experience in building training, solution messaging, competitive, and sales content / collateral within a business analytics and/or data integration organization (or related field)
