The Opportunity

 

InCharge Energy is seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager, Major Account to work with our marquis clients supporting their mission to reduce emissions by electrifying their vehicles and fleets. As part of the Major Accounts team, you will be working with the largest fleets in the country to help install EV charging solutions that can allow them to scale their adoption of EV’s into their fleet. There are opportunities to develop new solutions for our customers. These solutions include EV solution development, hardware, software, Charging as a Service (CAAS), Solar and Battery storage.

 

The Sales Manager, Major Accounts will build, foster, and maintain strong long-lasting client relationships and have a solution biased selling skillset. You will take a listen-first approach to sales so that you are talking to a customer’s needs and providing solutions that fit those. What You’ll Do

 

·        Serve as the lead point of contact for top national fleets in each assigned industry vertical(s)

·        Prospect and develop new accounts with efficiency – capable of scheduling and evaluating targeted market potential

·        Represent InCharge Energy in industry specific conferences and thought leadership

·        Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships that open long term sales relationships

·        Be comfortable with selling into multi-stakeholder sales scenarios and engaging with C-suite level down

·        Ability to collaborate in a team environment and work in team sales scenarios

·        Develop trusted advisor relationships with your accounts, peers, and sales partners

·        Help develop EV charging solutions that include EV charging hardware, fleet software, solar and battery storage systems

·        Develop strong product knowledge – ability to learn and understand all product offerings

·        Bring positivity, optimism, confidence, effective and have an efficient work ethic

·        Negotiate contracts and close agreements to grow revenues

·        Coordinate responses to competitive bids/RFX procurement processes

·        Help customers understand local, state and federals incentives and grants

·        Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas

·        Leverage automation and forecast sales within Salesforce

 

 

Your Experience and Capabilities

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 5+ years of sales experience working with large fleets and channel partners
  • Must have business experience in electric vehicles, solar, battery storage, or a similar industry
  • Must have experience with complex sales cycles with long lead times from first contact to contract
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills, with the ability to present to our client’s senior management team, maintain client correspondence and internal documentation 
  • Experience working across multiple departments within an organization to develop superior customer solutions: sales, marketing, engineering, products, and operations
  • Detail-oriented, good follow-through, able to multitask, and work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment to meet client and internal deadlines/obligations
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Ability to travel 25%-50%
