The Opportunity
InCharge Energy is seeking an analytical Network and Data Operator Intern. As part of the IT Department, Network and Data Operator Intern reports to the IT Manager. In this role you will maintain, support, and help to enhance the mission-critical business systems which support key internal applications. You will have opportunities to learn about other technologies, processes, and business systems. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organized, methodical professional who has the experience necessary to take our products to the next level. We are seeking an experienced resource with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and removal of hardware equipment’s.
- Working with experienced operators on the team in network operations, monitoring and troubleshooting issues.
- Monitoring the electric vehicle charger system for unusual conditions and working to ensure the health and normal operation of the system without error or delay.
- Analyzing first-level problems for all systems, resolving and routing as appropriate, supporting the systems management processes specific to requirements. Attending team standups or cross-functional interactions.
- Focuses on data integrity (past validation efforts, very large data sets).
- Partner with other technical team members to standardize and improve existing data sources and reporting processes.
- Cross functional resource who can work on other job responsibilities beyond a defined role.
Your Experience and Capabilities
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in engineering or computer science.
- Ability in taking written notes and documenting actions taken to resolve tasks.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision yet having the aptitude to know when to seek additional resources/escalation along with skillful time management.
- Troubleshooting: To determine what caused the issue or how to solve an issue.
- Reasoning: Understanding why a procedure or equipment is not working correctly. Logical Thinker: Understanding the difficult task and knowing steps to complete. Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
- Superb computer skills, including database management.
- Be comfortable working in a fast moving, multi-threaded, environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Salesforce work experience.
- Knowledge of data visualization, programming, API’s, data pipelines.
- Some undergraduate coursework completed.
