InCharge Energy is seeking a Technical Training Manager in our Richmond, VA office. This individual will identify, develop, and monitor the technical training needs of the organization. The Technical Training Manager will design, plan, and implement training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs. In addition, developing training modules for the various parts of the InCharge Business, product training, software training, installation training, service technician training, safety training, and various job trainings as the business grows.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with various department managers.
  • Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations.
  • Deploy a wide variety of training methods. 
  • Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions. Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them. 
  • Manage training budget. 
  • Provide opportunities for ongoing development.
  • Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary. 
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices. 

Qualifications

  • B.S./M.S in Human Resources, Learning and Development or Education preferred     
  • 5+ years of work experience as a Training Manager, Training Director, or similar experience
  • In-depth understanding of traditional and modern training methods (including workshops, simulations, e-learning, and coaching) 
  • Experience organizing training activities in a corporate environment 
    Hands-on experience with project management and budgeting 
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
