InCharge Energy is seeking a highly motivated Product Marketing Manager for our Santa Monica, California offices. This position provides a crucial role in outreach and support for our software platform. The Product Marketing Manager partners with product teams across the organization to help understand the user, shape the product roadmap, provide direct sales support, and provide coordinated media campaigns to drive sales of our software offering. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a rapidly growing industry and contribute to a product driving innovation. You will be a critical voice that uses customer insights to help commercial fleets see the value in our software offering. From partnering with Product Management, UX, Software, Hardware, Operations, Sales, and senior management teams to understanding the market landscape and driving toward successful product market fit, you will help establish and launch excellent products that further InCharge’s offerings in the software space. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will work closely with all marketing and sales functions to ensure positioning and messaging consistency from ideation to final go-to-market (GTM) plan execution.

Responsibilities:

·       Generate user insights working in close collaboration with Product Managers, UX, and Software teams so as to inform our product roadmap

·       Help Product define the voice of the customer, customer personas, core user journeys, and the purchasing decision journey, so as to better inform our understanding of our customers

·       Provide direct sales support by providing demonstrations of our software to prospective customers, provide customer training as needed, and responding to technical questions presented during the sales process and on RFPs

·       Understand the market landscape, working in partnership with our Sr. Product  Analyst to define the product’s positioning to clearly differentiate it in the market

·       Own our software marketing materials, from ideation to publication, working closely with our UX and marketing team to develop compelling presentations, artifacts, brochures, websites, and more

·       Provide training and support to our sales team for selling our software product

·       Solve strategic marketing challenges such as branding and feature messaging

·       Build relationships across teams at InCharge to identify synergies and amplify marketing efforts

 

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

·       2 years of experience in Marketing

·       2 years of experience in Product Marketing preferred

·       Experience in, or with, Technology-based products

·       Experience with branding, messaging, developing marketing plans, and launching products

·       Excellent presentation skills

·       Experience conducting customer research and user research

·       Excellent project management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Focus and curiosity around fostering positive customer experiences

·       Great design eye, with an ability to contribute to the design of our marketing materials

·       B2B and SaaS product marketing experience
