Responsibility

• Lead commercial product development programs.

• Responsible for indirect management of a cross functional team, including- commercial, finance, R&D, quality, and manufacturing to ensure successful launch of new products.

• Planning, scheduling, forecasting, coordinating, controlling, managing, and delivering all activities for customer facing R&D projects.

• Coordinate and communicate product status regularly to project teams, stakeholders across the value chain and the executive leadership team.

• Cross functional team management - holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work.

• Maintain schedule commit dates to ensure satisfaction of our brand customers.

• Triage issues and track ongoing actions.

• Maintain clear systems of documentation, ensuring that all product decisions are well-documented.

• Manage and continuously improve OPT’s new product introduction process. Help improve team processes and tools.

• Work with the finance team to plan and track project budgets and spending.

• Manage key external suppliers to ensure product continuity.

Requirement

• 7+ years of Project or Program Management experience in fast paced environments, preferably in ISO9001, ISO 22716, or ISO 13485 certified companies 

• Previous experience & understanding of product development, sales, marketing, and manufacturing operations is a plus.

• Experience launching consumer/cosmetics/medical products. Familiar with stage-gate new product introduction process is a plus. • Program management experience using both agile and waterfall methodologies.

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple products in a cross functional environment.

• Ability to drive to tangible results in a timely manner even when the work involves a high-level of ambiguity.

• Experience with managing contracts & relationships with external partners including 3rd party vendors.

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

• Strong hands-on experience working with project management and communication tools (e.g. SmartSheet, Confluence, JIRA, etc).

• BS in a business and communication field of study. PMP certification is preferred.
