More About You:
You have at least one - two years of culinary experience.
You can work well with others and desire to be a part of a best in class culinary team!
You have strong organization and active listening skills.
You’re reliable and love a fast-paced work environment.
You are able to maintain a clean and organized work area.
You have the ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 30 pounds at a time.
You have proficient knife skills..
You love to create positive guest experiences both in the kitchen and throughout the hotel.
You have a passion for hospitality, building strong relationships, learning new skills and having fun
You have the ability to operate and learn to maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment: deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill.
Ideally you have a high school education, cooking school, culinary institute education or equivalent experience.
You have an appreciation for and commitment to the outdoors, sustainability, and your own personal growth.
You are authorized to work in the United States.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll ensure ingredients and final products are fresh.
You’ll follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
You’ll present, garnish and arrange final dishes.
You’ll maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes.
You’ll handle and store ingredients and food.
You’ll maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
You’ll clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils.
You’ll execute opening and closing procedures.
You’ll set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment.
You’ll monitor station inventory levels.
You’ll accommodate guests’ special requests.
You’ll operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers.
