Recruiting Manager – Video Games Research Operations
As a Recruiting Manager, you will help lead our team of full-time and freelance Recruiters, overseeing participant recruitment for in-person and virtual qualitative studies. Your primary responsibility will be managing recruitment efforts for our Good Gamer Group panel, ensuring the right participants are selected and logistics are seamlessly coordinated.
This role requires team and service oversight, and hands-on recruiting involvement. You will refine and implement recruiting processes, integrate new tools, and track key performance metrics to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Additionally, you will help spearhead our Gamers on Demand service, handling everything from proposal creation to sales negotiation to successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of up to 8 full-time and freelance Recruiters, ensuring effective team collaboration and a positive, energetic work environment.
- Manage recruitment for qualitative research studies, ensuring project criteria are met and timelines are adhered to.
- Implement and refine recruiting processes and tools, ensuring proper integration, training, and team adherence.
- Monitor and report on key metrics such as cost per recruit, time to recruit, and recruitment quality.
- Develop proposals, negotiate sales, and execute our Gamers on Demand service, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including IT and moderators, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage communication with participants and internal teams through CRM tools, ensuring clear and consistent updates.
- Create and program screener surveys using tools like Alchemer to identify qualified participants.
- Work with, compromise, or otherwise negotiate recruiting criteria to ensure Recruiting’s ability to execute against the criteria.
- Travel occasionally to Los Angeles or Dallas to oversee on-site recruitment and project execution.
- Ability to have a flexible schedule as some studies occur internationally or off core hours.

- Experience in programming surveys using tools like Alchemer or similar platforms.
- A keen understanding of the video game industry, including familiarity with major game genres and franchises across PC, console, and mobile platforms – knowing when project recruiting requirements may be difficult to obtain against our Good Gamer Group panel.
Experience
- Proven experience as a recruiter, specifically within consumer panels.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role, with responsibilities including customer interaction and issue resolution.
- A strong passion for gaming, with a deep understanding of the gaming community and industry, is highly desirable.
Compensation
This is a part-time or full-time (W-2) opportunity with a pay range of $23-$30 per hour depending on availability, experience, and performance.
