Position Summary:

Cask is seeking an experienced and technical Lead Information Assurance Technician who can establish and satisfy complex system-wide information security requirements based on analyzing user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands. This position is responsible for implementing and monitoring security measures for computer systems and measures for computers and networks.

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for organizing, managing, and controlling System Security Tasks.

·         Manage personnel, work schedules, and deliverables.

·         Provide thought leadership and mentoring to the Systems Security Team.

·         Support customers at the highest levels in developing and implementing doctrine and policies.

·         Apply expertise to Government and commercial common user systems and dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.  Examples could include command and control-related networks.

 

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

·         Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or higher in relevant field.

·         Minimum 12 years of related experience.

·       Completion of Marine Corps Cybersecurity Assessment Methodology Course (Must be one of the following: Joint Cybersecurity Assessment, NSA Blue Team Assessment Course, United States Navy Certifier Course, or Marine Corps Cyber Assessment Methodology Course).

·         Completing Marine Corps Certification and Accreditation Support Tool (MCCAST) for Validators Training.

·         Previously possessed Marine Corps Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 0689.

·         Certified Information Assurance Level III IAW DoD 8570.01-M is required.

·         Must possess a valid D141 Marine Corps or Navy Independent Validation Certification.
