STATUS: Contingent

CLEARANCE: Secret

TRAVEL: Up to 25%

 

DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity professional focused on Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Operations to join our dynamic and growing team. In this position, you will support the information systems security manager (ISSM) from an operational perspective. You will work collaboratively with clients/users, ISSM/ISSOs, Enterprise Service Desk, and various stakeholders within the company to ensure that cybersecurity risks are effectively managed and protected, and vulnerabilities are mitigated. 

 

DUTIES:

·         Monitor the Remedy ticketing system to ensure all cybersecurity tickets are acknowledged, assigned, and resolved in a timely fashion.

·         Assist with the tracking and processing requests for modification (RFM), web assessments, whitelist, blacklist, and all other tasks processed by cybersecurity.

·         Conduct security checks and inspections, ensuring data, equipment, and personnel security are enforced.

·         Verify and sign command SAARs.

·         Assist the ISSM in creating, reviewing, and maintaining all cybersecurity command policies.

·         Assist the ISSM in maintaining audit and inspection readiness.

·         Monitor changes within the MARCORLOGCOM environment that may affect cybersecurity posture.

·         Ensure the operational IT security posture is maintained.

Required Skills / Qualifications

 

·         Three (3)+ years of experience in technology-centered, cybersecurity, or similar roles.

·         Two (2) years of demonstrated experience with Enterprise IT Service Management (Remedy)

·         Two (2) years of demonstrated experience performing vulnerability/risk analysis of computer systems and applications.

·         Hands-on experience performing HP Fortify scans

·         Demonstrated experience in identifying possible causes of system performance degradation or availability and initiating actions needed to mitigate this degradation.

·         Demonstrated experience in IT system operation, maintenance, and security needed to keep equipment functioning properly.

·         Demonstrated experience in documenting reported incidents, problems, and events.

·         Working knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).

·         Working knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity and privacy.

·         Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification, with the ability to obtain IAM Level II Certification.

Preferred Technical Skills:

·         Bachelor’s  degree preferred

·         Hands-on experience performing ACAS scans.

·         Demonstrated experience in operation and monitoring of SPLUNK solutions.

·         Experience in Technical Writing a major plus

·         Evidence of continuing education, such as certifications, a plus

·         Possession of at least one Computing Environment (CE) certification (Linux Server, Microsoft Windows Server, Oracle Database, or Virtual Infrastructure/Cloud)
