DESCRIPTION:

The Cyber Security Vulnerability Management Analyst to support the Marine Corps Logistics Command (MARCORLOGCOM) As a Cyber Security Vulnerability Management Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments, identifying, tracking, remediating, and reporting vulnerabilities in systems, applications, and networks.

 

As a Cyber Security Vulnerability Management Analyst, you will:

  • Provide daily operation of ACAS, SPLUNK, Fortify, and emergent technologies to coordinate vulnerability remediation.
  • Ensure vulnerability management tools remain operational and in compliance with IAW policy and guidance.
  • Assist in the operation and configuration of SPLUNK to ensure compliance with the policy for monitoring log files.
  • Track Information Assurance and Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA’s) Directives and other reportable.
  • Create, track, view, and resolve vulnerability management-related tickets within Remedy.
  • Create vulnerability tracking and vulnerability assessment reports.
  • Develop monthly vulnerability assessment and security posture metrics and reports.
  • Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to aid in the identification of incidents.

 

Qualifications:

·         Three (3)+ years of experience in a technology-centered role, cybersecurity, or similar.

·         Two (2) years of demonstrated experience performing vulnerability/risk analysis of computer systems and applications.

·         Two (2) years of demonstrated experience with Enterprise IT Service Management (Remedy)

·         Hands-on experience performing ACAS scans.

·         Demonstrated experience in the operation and configuration of SPLUNK solutions.              

·         Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I or Level II certification, with the ability to obtain IAM Level II Certification.

·         Required Education: High School Diploma

·         Required Security Clearance: Active Secret
